The flexible arm rests 1/4” - 1/2” under the banger and gives a perfect temperature reading as well as alerting with a “beep” at any selected preset temperature for a perfect experience. Set banger type, and the desired temperature based on the type of material, and your ready to go. It does remember and revert to the last programmed settings at restart. This is necessary equipment. Cured Resins, Live Resins, and Hash Rosins are all meant to be consumed at specific temperatures for ideal flavor, and temperature control extends the life of your quartz.
